• Fees are for my time -- please have no misunderstanding about this. There is no quid pro quo beyond spending time together. If you are unsure about this, do not reach out.

• I conduct an initial screening consisting of a confidential background query based on the info you provide below. If I think we'd be a good match, I'll email you to request screening information -- please wait until I email you for this. The screening process, beginning from when I receive this form to the completion, may take a few days.

• If you don't hear back from me, assume we are not moving forward. There are a few possibilities for this: (i) you didn't provide adequate information, (ii) your background verification was not reassuring, (iii) your message implies you might expect inappropriate or illegal activities to take place, (iv) you've been impolite or evasive, (v) I may know you (or someone close to you) in a context that would jeopardize our discretion, or (vi) I don't feel we would be ideal company for each other. Accept a non-response as a "no thank you."​​
